A U.S. airstrike on a car in Kabul last month killed “as many as 10” civilians — including seven children — and the vehicle likely did not pose a threat to American forces, the Department of Defense said Friday, confirming fears about an urban drone strike carried out in the chaotic final days of the United States’ two-decade-long war in Afghanistan.
