In her Ted Talk, she focuses on the importance of kindness and emphasizes the positive impacts of words and acts of kindness on others. Mia also urges others to practice self-compassion because she feels everyone deserves more happiness in their lives. Mia Jung is a senior at South Pasadena High School. She has a wide spectrum of interests which includes performing with her music club for senior citizens and hospitalized patients at her community. Mia is the vice president of a Christian organization at SPHS and the president of a small children’s charity.
