Hemos sido educad@s bajo una concepción social inevitablemente racista, que privilegia determinadas identidades y reduce posibilidades para otras. Jumko Ogata ha experimentado en carne propia esta racialización y nos da herramientas para desmantelar ese racismo que tod@s llevamos dentro. JUMKO OGATA AGUILAR is an Afro-Japanese, native of Veracruz, writer. She’s doing her thesis onBachelor’s degree in the College of Latin American Studies at UNAM.
He writes fiction, essays and film reviews and has been published in the
Universidad Veracruzana, Vogue Mexico and the British Council of Mexico. Their issues of interest are identity, racialization and racism in Mexico.
