In these days of ‘fake’ and round the clock news cycles can we really trust the results we get back from the search engines. If not why not? What do we need to know about the results delivered from the questions we ask from the likes of Google and Bing. Are our own actions driving these search giants to be biased in what results we get? As a digital marketer, broadcaster, and historian, Thomas is both fascinated and concerned by how and where we consume our information and knowledge. In today’s political climate, and with the proliferation of digital giving us data on demand, this is
arguably more important than it has ever been before. Thomas is regularly involved in educating and training, be that with student radio presenters across the UK or on behalf of government departments to help businesses grow, believing education is the foundation of everything. He’s also quite tall. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
