In his Ted Talk, Liam recalls his experience of how he was inspired by his mother to become a budding surgeon. Liam Markus is a high school student from SPHS. He’s on the Varsity Water Polo team as well as on the Junior Olympics team. Throughout all the practices and games, he’s had to juggle his homework and studying for the MCAT, all to reach his goal of becoming a trauma surgeon. He’s worked and watched through numerous operations in the medical field and wants to share his encounters and inspire through TedxSouthPasadenaHigh.
