The Anaheim Ducks defeated the Edmonton Oilers in a thrilling 7 game series to advance to the Western Conference Finals. Anaheim earned the series win largely thanks to an incredible 3 goal comeback and overtime win in game 5, and were once again led by outstanding play by Ryan Getzlaf. Should the Ducks win the Cup, one might assume Getzlaf would be the frontrunner for the Conn Smyth award. However, if the Ducks are to reach the Cup Final, they’ll need to get through the hottest team in the NHL, the Nashville Predators.
