On the Senate floor earlier, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) made the case against Sen. John Barrasso’s (R-WY) amendment to the bipartisan infrastructure bill, which would prohibit money in the bill to be used for building codes which bar natural gas hookups in homes, an amendment that ultimately failed to pass.
