Zia lived his whole life in Afghanistan and moved to the United States in 2017. He gives us an real understanding of his cultures to hopefully shift many perspectives. Zia challenges us to be more empathetic, kind, and helpful to other cultures.
Zia gave his talk during our TEDxKids@ElCajon virtual event. His talk was pre-recorded in an empty theater and broadcasted live on Zoom and Facebook. Zia is a 7th grader from Cajon Valley Middle School. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
