Myanmar’s Ambassador to the UN, Kyaw Moe Tun, speaks during a Congressional hearing to asks the US to send assistance to protestors who are trying to restore democracy after a military coup earlier this year. The military junta has called for his removal from his position, creating a dispute at the UN as to whether to recognize him or the military regime’s newly appointed representative, although the Biden administration seems to be backing Mr. Kyaw Moe Tun.
