Dr. Kate Cottle asks the question: Why study the humanities? We study the humanities to become better humans. The humanities impact workplace and life skills as well as giving us a global perspective on the beauty and history of the human experience.
Dr. Kate Cottle is the Chair of Humanities and Literature at Wilmington University. Her areas of instruction include writing and research, hybrid and online course design, grammar, humanities, literature, history, and poetry. In addition to teaching, Dr. Cottle has professional experience in the corporate setting as a help desk analyst and technical writer. She completed her Ed.D. in Curriculum, Technology, and Higher Education from the University of Delaware in 2019. Kate Cottle is the Chair of Humanities and Literature at Wilmington University.
