In remarks on the House floor refuting Rep. Andrew Clyde’s (R-GA) comment that the events of the Capitol Insurrection resembled a «normal tourist visit,» Rep. Steve Cohen (R-TN) invoked Ashli Babbitt, a woman shot trying to break into the House Chamber, stating, that «if that person wasn’t dead, they would have breached the floor of the House and God knows what they’d have done if they could’ve found a person on the House.»
