Puranjay Shori is currently a junior at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, in Denton, Texas. Puranjay has an interest in History, Biology, and Physics, and also enjoys composing and playing music. The following talk discusses the idea of basing outcomes by merit, and getting out of certain mindsets that make us rely too heavily on chance, and preventing these beliefs to dictate our day-to-day performance and potentially our lives.
