The U.S. Supreme Court declined to strike down the Affordable Care Act Thursday, as well as the bill’s individual mandate for buying health insurance, ruling 7-2 the GOP plaintiffs who brought the case did not have standing to sue and keeping the landmark healthcare law intact despite Democrats’ fears the conservative-leaning court would overturn it.
