Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday said some of the Republicans challenging anti-Trump Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) will gather at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club next week to try to secure his endorsement – the latest sign that he’s poised to focus much of his energy in 2022 on backing primary challengers to his Republican detractors.
