This talk discusses the reality of marginalized communities in America, and how our own personal biases play a huge role in the justice system that’s meant to serve the people. Ananya Choudhary is an incoming freshman at the University of Texas, Austin pursuing a double major in International Relations and Economics. She was President of her school’s Business Organization and founded an app helping address the growing food insecurity crisis. Ananya enjoys engaging in discourse surrounding social change and justice, and loves to do so through platforms like Speech and Debate, and Journalism; her goal being to use her voice to raise awareness on issues important to her.
