In a city that is constantly changing and shifting, George shares his story of how the equestrian community is uniting the black and brown communities in Compton. George details how the Rancheros and the Compton Cowboys use advocacy to achieve their goals of raising awareness for the Richland Farms equine culture. He also discusses they work together to change the narrative of the city through supporting the restoration of the Compton Creek and implementing safety measures for the horse-riding in urban areas.

George is a community organizer with experience working with local & state government. He has served as an advocate for Compton’s historical Richland Farms’ equine community, existing since Compton’s incorporation in 1888.
