At today’s Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing, Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) spoke about his belief that repealing the 2002 AUMF would make it clear to the Iraqi people that the US is their friend and ally, and pushed back on the idea that President Biden could authorize strikes against Iran.
