متحدثنا أحمد القباني هياخدنا في رحلة مشوقة من بداية الثورات الصناعية وعصر آلات الديزيل إلى الذكاء الاصطناعي وتكنولوجيا الواقع الأفتراضي, اللي بتعتبر ثورة صناعية جديدة في المستقبل على المستوى الطبي، الترفيهي، الصناعي والإجتماعي كمان.
د/ أحمد القباني هو مدرس مساعد في قسم هندسة الإلكترونيات والاتصالات في الأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا، حصل على درجة الدكتوراه في الهندسة الكهربائية وهندسة الحاسبات من جامعة أوتاوا في كندا، ركز أبحاثه على تكنولوجيا الواقع الافتراضي واستخدامها في تقنيات العلاج, زي مساعدة الأشخاص المصابين بالتوحد.
اتصنفت أحد الخوارزميات الي ساهم بها أثناء حصوله على درجة الدكتوراه، في هذا الوقت، من بين أفضل 8 تقنيات في جميع أنحاء العالم وفقاً للمعاير الدولية في ذلك المجال.
تم ترشيح القباني من قبل شبكة MO4 ، إحدى الوكالات الإعلامية الرائدة في الشرق الأوسط ، من بين 17 من أكثر المصريين إلهاماً وتأثيراً في عام 2017.

Our speaker Ahmed El-Kabbani will take us on an interesting journey from the beginning of the industrial revolutions and the era of diesel machines to artificial intelligence and virtual reality technology, which is considered a new industrial revolution in the future at the medical, entertainment, industrial and social levels.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kabbani is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. He obtained a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa in Canada. His research focused on virtual reality technology and its use in treatment techniques, such as helping people with autism.
One of the algorithms that he contributed to while obtaining his doctorate was ranked, at this time, among the top 8 technologies worldwide according to international standards in that field.
