The earthquake of 2010 in Haiti changed Aurélie Rosarion’s life indefinitely. Experiencing this at such a young age, and living in the aftermath separated from her parents sparked a new perspective on her life. Aurelie Rosarion grew up in Haiti and recently moved to the United States to attend North Broward Preparatory School. She is involved in her school community in many different ways holding positions in student government, as residential prefect, president of the culinary club, as well as a Link Leader. She describes herself as a leader and a risk-taker who uses every single opportunity as a way to experience something new. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
