“You are Never too Young or Old to Make a Difference” is the motto of 11 year-old Christopher Evans. He shares the story of how when he was only 8, he decided to change the fate of the citizens of Haiti, one lemonade stand at a time. Christopher Evans is a current 6th grader at North Broward Preparatory School in Coconut Creek, Florida. He has many interests including music (he is a violinist and singer) and theatre. His passion for helping others has led him to raise over $40,000 through Food for the Poor to fund building projects in Haiti including houses and clean water wells. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
