The Georgia state judge presiding over the murder trial for three men accused of chasing down and killing Ahmaud Arbery rejected a defense request for a mistrial on Monday, after one of the defense attorneys that argued that the presence of prominent civil rights figures in the public courtroom makes for an unfair “atmosphere.”
