At an event promoting tourism in her state, Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) subtly mocked former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK), stating, «I can see Canada from my house,» a reference to Palin’s 2008 quote, «You can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.»
