Oceanic were a UK dance music act who came from the Wirral in England. Insanity was there only track ever to have any real commercial success making it to number 3 in the UK charts in 1991, with its female vocalist Jorinde Williams singing the dream tripper vocals in proved to be an instance rave classic
They went on to release an album titled ‘That compact disc by Oceanic’ in 1992 but none of their follow up tracks ever came close to matching the success of Insanity which proved popular not only in the dance music clubs but also in the charts.
Oceanic re-released insanity in 1999 but it failed to make much of an impression on the charts with that re-release.
